Biography

Nebojsha Jovanovikj is a Macedonian film director, screenwriter and producer. His work includes short fiction and documentary films, as well as mentoring youth film workshops. He is the founder and director of Kinenova, working to promote emerging filmmakers and international cultural exchange.

Gena Teodosievska

Biography

Gena Teodosievska is a television journalist, film critic and festival programmer. She served as programmer, artistic director and director of Manaki Brothers between 2008 and 2020. Her work spans production, film education and the international promotion of Macedonian cinema. She has served on numerous festival juries and is a member of the Macedonian section of FIPRESCI.

Srdan Golubovic

Biography

Srdan Golubovic is a Serbian film director and producer. His debut feature Absolute 100 screened at numerous international festivals. The Trap premiered at the Berlinale in 2007, while Circles was selected as Serbia’s entry for the Academy Awards. His career also includes work with the production company Baš Čelik and teaching film directing in Belgrade.

Ulrich Seidl

Biography

Ulrich Seidl is an Austrian director, screenwriter and producer, born in Vienna in 1952. His work spans documentary and fiction. Dog Days won the Grand Special Jury Prize in Venice, and Import Export screened in competition at Cannes. His Paradise trilogy comprises Love, Faith and Hope, presented at Cannes, Venice and Berlin.

Ulrich Seidl is a festival laureate at the International Film Festival KINENOVA, who won the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in 2024.

Ildikó Enyedi

Biography

Ildikó Enyedi is a Hungarian director and screenwriter, born in Budapest in 1955. My 20th Century won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes. On Body and Soul won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. Her career connects experimental film, feature filmmaking and film education.

Ildiko Enyedi is a festival laureate at the International Film Festival KINENOVA, who won the Award for Outstanding Contribution to the World of Film Art in 2022.

Aleksandra Markovic

Biography

Aleksandra Markovic is a documentary filmmaker and film educator. Her practice includes documentary directing and editing, research-led projects and television production. Her work explores human rights, migration, art and animal welfare. Before moving to the United Kingdom, she spent more than a decade in Croatian television. She holds an MA in Documentary Practice from Queen Mary University of London.

Drago Sholev

Biography

Drago Sholev is a Bulgarian director and screenwriter, born in Ruse in 1977. He studied animation and film directing at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. Following a series of shorts, he directed the feature Shelter, presented at San Sebastian and awarded at international festivals. His work also includes commercials and music videos.
