Short synopsis:
Mei, a daughter of immigrants living in Poland, dreams of becoming a pianist. Trying to combine the colliding cultures she lives in she takes a step that can’t be undone. Starting adolescence she must choose between her family and her own happiness.
Anna Fam – director, producer and screenwriter with Vietnamese roots. Many times award winner for her unconventional approach to interweaving of cultures. She represented Poland at film industry events and international festivals. She participated in the following programs: EAVE, Eurodoc, Ace Producers and Wajda School & Studio, which allowed her to gain valuable skills and experience and consolidated her view of the world of film. She is currently preparing her directorial debut at Munk Studio.
