Short Synopsis:
Mila struggles as she remains unpaid at work and a love interest becomes a source of comfort through his constant phone calls. But a promise of hope may also lead to tragedy and sad love songs.
Sam Manacsa worked as art director on award-winning films such as Carlo Francisco Manatad’s Whether the Weather is Fine (Locarno Junior Jury Award 2021). Her short film, If People Such as We Cease to Exist (2016), was selected in Clermont-Ferrand Competition. She is an alumna of SEAFIC Seed Lab and Asian Film Academy.
