Jani Bojadzi
Jani Bojadzi is a director, screenwriter, and producer, born in 1970 in Strumica, where he finished high school, graduated, and mastered film and television directing at the National Academy of Theater and Cinematic Arts in Sofia, received his doctorate in film and television directing at the University of Neophyte Rilski” in Bulgaria. He is an associate professor in directing for film and television at the “Europa Prima” University in Skopje.
Jani Bojadzi is a director of several successful short films. He has produced and directed numerous TV series which have attracted big attention in the publicity in North Macedonia . His first feature film MOCKING OF CHRIST achieved worldwide success, receiving the Award for Special Artistic Achievement at the world-renowned Film Festival in Montreal.
He is also a big supporter of independent film production in North Macedonia, supporting many young authors in their film careers. His last film CINEMA LOVE is a part of that independent film production in North Macedonia.
At the moment he is working on his new feature film project.
Dorina Oarga
Dorina Oarga has been working in the film industry for over 15 years, with extensive experience in project management, both in Romania and internationally. Bucharest-based, but a traveler at heart, she’s a longtime collaborator for the Transilvania International Film Festival (Cluj-Napoca, Romania / 2008 to present), where she ran the Industry department for several years. In 2019, together with the festival, they’ve launched TIFF Unlimited, a year-round VoD platform, dedicated to bringing arthouse films to the local audiences.
Attracted by the streaming industry, Dorina was also responsible for the launch of CINEPUB (in 2015), an online video streaming service launched in partnership with Google, featured on YouTube, and dedicated to Romanian films. It came only natural for her to join the European Film Club team at the European Film Academy in 2022.
Her love for travel and desire to always improve as a professional, brought her alongside several great projects, all with their challenges and rewards: European Film Awards and SOFA – School of Film Advancement (both located in Berlin, Germany), Eventival (Czech Republic), Aristoteles Workshop (Romania), Doha Tribeca Film Festival (Qatar), Vilnius IFF “Kino Pavasaris” (Lithuania) and Arras Film Festival (France), among others.
Asimina Proedrou
Asimina Proedrou is a writer-director based in Greece. Her short film, RED HULK (2013), was selected for the Clermont-Ferrand IFF and won seven international awards. Her debut feature, BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS (2022) was the Greek entry for the 96th Academy Awards. It was among the 40 best films selected for the European Film Awards and won 10 awards at the Greek Academy Awards (including Best Picture). The film won, among others, six awards at the Thessaloniki IFF and the Best Debut Feature Award at the IFF of India (Goa), while it was selected for several IFFs, including Palm Springs. Her second feature project HYSTÉRA won the Montenegro Development Award at the CineLink Sarajevo and was selected for the COPROCITY Award which will be presented within Les Arc IFF.
