Short synopsis: Renowned Bosnian actor Ermin Bravo and remarkable debutant Nika Grbelja embody very persuasively a casual stray love, doomed to inevitably end in a heartbreaking separation. Underage high school student Una enchantingly interrupts the sad and painful routine of Bosnian Mahir, 22 years her senior. As the flirty girl gradually grows into a young woman, a gravely hurt guest unravels the impossibility of healing from wounds of guilt, hate, and blame.

Film Director: Andrej Korovljev

Andrej Korovljev was born in Pula in 1970. After finishing secondary school, he studied mechanical engineering in Zagreb. In 1995, he went to London, where he studied at Westminster University at the department for film directing. After completing his studies, he returns to Croatia and begins his professional career. He has directed several short films, documentaries, TV shows, and music videos. In 1999, he directed the documentary "Una Storia Polesana" about the marginalized people of Pula. The following year, he completed the documentary film "Years of Rust", which won the award for best documentary film, the Jelena Rajkovic award for а best young director, and the award for best editing at the Croatian Film Days in 2000. As for commercial work, he mostly shoots TV commercials. He directed several hundreds of commercials for large Croatian corporations, as well as for foreign clients. Andrej has received numerous Croatian and international awards for his commercials, documentaries, and music videos. Andrej is a member of the Society of Croatian Film Directors. HOTEL PULA is his debut film.
